The three-night run at Pine Creek Lodge delivered a series of remarkable moments and highly-anticipated returns. Exploring dark and psychedelic soundscapes, the band united on a peak before seamlessly transitioning into their rendition of Donna Summer’s iconic song “I Feel Love.” However, it was the 22-minute mark that saw the band embark on a true musical adventure, led by the interplay between keyboardist Aron Magner and guitarist Jon Barber. “Voices Insane” kicked off with a mesmerizing 12+ minute extended intro jam, setting the stage for the song’s signature fiery compositions. ![]() The band’s bassist, Mark Brownstein, shared his enthusiasm on the performance, stating, “When we get on stage, we never know what’s going to happen, but we hope that through the process of intense and open listening, we will arrive in the place that we did on 7/8/23, where the band is reacting to each other in perfect harmony and unity.” A major highlight of the run was an unprecedented 34-minute rendition of their original track, “Voices Insane,” which took place on Saturday, making it the longest version ever played by the band.
